March Poll Results: Making U.S. Paper Currency Accessible

First of all I want to say thank you to everyone who voted in the poll. I think that this is a very important issue, and based on the response I see that my rears also realize that making our money accessible is important as well. So here are the results.

Total number of votes: 47
Different Sizes: 33
Clipped Corners: 6
Texture of Braille: 16
Other: 4

Based on these numbers, most people would prefer different sizes, however the poll did allow people to choose more than one option, so maybe different sizes could be a part of the change, combined with texture/braille. I personally think that different sizes would be the easiest for the treasury to do. They could keep the $1 the way it is so that vending machines don't have to be changed, and than make the others either bigger or smaller. I will be sure to send a letter to the treasury letting them know about the response. If you have a chance, please consider contacting the American Council for the Blind and urge them to continue fighting for the treasury to do what they have been ordered to do.
